SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they've acquired guard Seth Allen from the available player pool. Allen will be available for Saturday's home game against the Austin Spurs.

Allen, a 6-1, 195-pound guard out of Virginia Tech appeared in 123 collegiate games (43 starts) in his career. Allen spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Maryland, where he appeared in 56 games (22 starts), and averaged 13.4 points per game as a sophomore. Allen then transferred to Virginia Tech, where he appeared in 67 games (21 starts) over his junior and senior seasons. He averaged a career-best 14.7 points per game as a junior during the 2015-16 season, and shot a career-best 44.1 percent from three-point range while averaging 13.3 points per game as a senior in 2016-17.

Allen spent the first part of the 2017-18 season playing internationally for Atomeromu SE of the Hungarian NBIA League. He appeared in 18 games (13 starts) and averaged 15.1 points, 3.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals in just under 26 minutes per game.

Allen will wear #4 for Sioux Falls.
