New York Red Bulls News Release
HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls and Sky Blue FC announced today that Sky Blue will move its training location to the Red Bulls Training Facility in East Hanover, N.J., furthering a partnership that will also see Sky Blue FC play home matches at Red Bull Arena in 2020.
"We're proud to partner with Sky Blue and provide world-class facilities for training as well as games," said Red Bulls VP of Operations Shaun Oliver. "Giving Sky Blue players and staff access to facilities and fields that we consider to be the best in the region will hopefully aid their preparation and help contribute to success on the field."
Sky Blue will have access to private locker rooms as well as meeting space, treatment room, and a coaches office in the academy building at Red Bulls Training Facility, as well as turf and grass training fields.
"We're grateful for the working relationship we have with the Red Bulls organization," said Sky Blue General Manager Alyse LaHue. "Our goal is to provide our players with the best possible resources to reach their potential and this training location and environment helps accomplish that."
In November, it was announced that Red Bull Arena would be Sky Blue's home venue for the 2020 season, building off of RBA hosting two Sky Blue matches last Summer. For Sky Blue tickets, visit https://skybluefc.com/tickets/ or by calling 1-888-SBFC-TIX.
Red Bulls Training Facility opened in 2013 and expanded in 2016 with a dedicated academy building and field. The facility boasts four full-size fields, including one heated grass field and one turf field. The academy building has a full training room, gym, team meeting room and offices.
