
Shorebirds to Host Bi-State Rivalry

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds will host top high school baseball programs from Maryland and Delaware for the annual Bi-State Rivalry Challenge, which will be held at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2.
Friday night's schedule will include the 14-1 Stephen Decatur Seahawks taking on the Indian River Indians. The second game of Friday's doubleheader will feature the 15-1 Parkside Rams going against the Delmar Wildcats.
Saturday's slate features a tripleheader that begins with a matchup between the Washington Jaguars and the Laurel Bulldogs. The second game of the day will feature the Snow Hill Eagles squaring off against the Woodbridge Blue Raiders. The final game of Saturday's action will pit Parkside against the Dover Senators, who rank fourth in DelawareOnline's latest state rankings.
Tickets for the games will be sold in the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium lobby on game day and will cost $5. Tickets will be good for all games played on the date of purchase. Gates will open one hour before the start time of the first game.
