
Shorebirds Return Home Monday

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds, Class "A" affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, will begin a brief three-game homestand on Monday, May 18 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
All three games will be against the Lakewood BlueClaws, the Class "A" affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
A number of promotions are scheduled for these games including 47 ABC Two Buck Monday, McDonald's Two for Tuesday and a Wednesday contest that will be a Coastal Home Care Silver Sluggers date as well as a Field of Dreams Day presented by the Friends of Wicomico Public Libraries.
Monday, May 18 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws, 7:05 p.m.
The Shorebirds will kick off the homestand on a 47 ABC Two Buck Monday. General Admission tickets, Esskay hot dogs and small Pepsi products will all be priced at $2. No coupon is necessary to take advantage of the promotion.
Tuesday, May 19 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws, 7:05 p.m.
All Tuesday home games are Two for Tuesdays presented by McDonald's of the Eastern Shore. Fans who bring a receipt for a McDonald's extra value meal, happy meal or full-sized salad are eligible for a buy one, get one free offer on general admission tickets. The Shorebirds will also donate $1 from every receipt turned in to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Fans who attend Tuesday's game are also eligible to enter the "Tweet Your Seat" contest presented by McDonald's of the Eastern Shore for their chance to win prizes from McDonald's.
Wednesday, May 20 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws, 10:35 a.m.
The series finale between the Shorebirds and Blueclaws will feature a special 10:35 a.m. start time as a Field of Dreams Day presented by Friends of Wicomico Public Libraries. Area students will be treated to an outing at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium that will combine baseball and education.
Wednesday's game will also mark another Coastal Home Care Silver Sluggers Day, which will include another round of Baseball Bingo for fans to play during the game.
