PREVIEW: The Shorebirds scored the first six runs last night and downed the Suns 6-2 behind sharp outings from Dylan Bundy (3 scoreless) and Trent Howard (5 scoreless). The Suns have not scored in the first eight games of either game in the series. The Shorebirds have won four straight games to remain atop of the North in a three-way tie with Greensboro and Hickory.

DELMONICO ENDS HITLESS STRETCH: In his fourth at-bat last night, Delmonico ended an 0-for-24 stretch at the plate with a long home run over the right-center field wall. He went five straight games without a hit (last one on April 9).
8 RUNS ALLOWED IN LAST FOUR: Shorebirds pitching has allowed just eight runs in the last four games with six of the eight coming when the Shorebirds had a comfortable lead in the ninth inning. The Shorebirds have a 1.50 ERA over the last four games (2 unearned runs last night).
