CHARLESTON, SC - Mother Nature didn't cooperate on Wednesday night as the Charleston RiverDogs (9-3) and Augusta GreenJackets (5-8) were rained out at Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta, GA. Because Charleston and Augusta do not meet again in the first half of 2012, the game will not be made up.

The South Atlantic League Southern Division leading RiverDogs will welcome in the West Virginia Power (5-8), SAL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, for four games starting Thursday, April 19. It will be Palmetto Pride Night at The Joe, Budweiser Thirsty Thursday with $1 beers in the Ashley View Pub and DJ Natty Heavy performing, plus postgame midget wrestling presented by MINI of Charleston. The RiverDogs will send out RHP Bryan Mitchell (0-1, 2.25 ERA), and West Virginia will counter with LHP Zac Fuesser (0-0, 5.54 ERA). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.
