Shea Guthrie Returns to Utah

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that the team has signed forward Shea Guthrie.

Guthrie played 22 games with Utah last year totaling seven goals and six assists before being traded to Florida where he scored 24 points on 11 goals and 13 assists in 33 games. He had one goal and three assists in eight playoff games for the Everblades.

The 23-year-old was drafted in the third round and 76th overall by the New York Islanders in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He totaled 106 points in 137 games playing four years of college hockey at Clarkson University.

Utah returns home to host Stockton Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
