ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Las Vegas ‚¬â„¢ Collins Fined

Las Vegas ‚¬â„¢ Greg Collins has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #545, Las Vegas at Idaho, on March 4.

Collins is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Stockton ‚¬â„¢s Constant Fined, Suspended

Stockton ‚¬â„¢s Ryan Constant has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #546, Alaska at Stockton, on March 4.

Constant is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Constant missed Stockton ‚¬â„¢s games against Alaska on March 5 and 6.

Toledo ‚¬â„¢s Piche Fined, Suspended

Toledo ‚¬â„¢s Sebastien Piche has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #551, Toledo at Cincinnati, on March 5.

Piche was assessed a charging major and game misconduct at 9:08 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Piche will miss Toledo ‚¬â„¢s games at Kalamazoo on March 9 and at Trenton on March 11.
