The Pirates got the ball rolling in the first frame when Henrik Samuelsson found the back of the net at 11:58, with some help from Jordan Martinook and Alex Bolduc. The Pirates netted another deep into the second period at 16:17 when Martinook scored one of his own, assisted by Dylan Reese and Samuelsson.
