Lehigh Valley, PA - The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have returned on loan defensemen Brandon Manning and Oliver Lauridsen from Philadelphia to Lehigh Valley.

Both blueliners were recalled early yesterday in advance of last evening's tilt between the Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Manning registered one shot on goal and three hits in Philadelphia's 3-2 overtime triumph while Lauridsen did not play as Carlo Colaiacovo, who sustained an upper-body injury in Monday's contest with the New York Islanders, was able to suit up.
A 24-year-old blueliner from Prince George, British Columbia, Manning has recorded six goals, 19 assists, 25 points and 86 penalty minutes in 36 games with Lehigh Valley this year. He entered the week seventh among all AHL defenders in total scoring and was recently named to the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic. This was Manning's second stint with the Flyers this season. In 13 career NHL outings, the 6'1", 205-pound defenseman has produced three assists.
A 25-year-old blueliner from Gentofte, Denmark, Lauridsen has tallied two goals, three assists, five points and 73 penalty minutes while appearing in all 38 games with the Phantoms this season. A 6'6", 220-pound defender, Lauridsen received his first NHL call-up during the 2012-13 season during which he registered two goals, three points and 34 penalty minutes in 15 games with the Flyers.
