
Seven-Game Homestand Begins Tonight at America's Classic Ballpark

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Phillies 2010 season, presented by Pepsi is in full swing, and on Tuesday, June 8, the club will open an explosive seven-game homestand at America's Classic Ballpark. Headlined by four fantastic fireworks shows, Dog Day at the Park, "Yo Pimp My Ride" Clunker Car giveaway, Screwball's birthday, and more, the upcoming seven-game series is sure to please fans of all ages.
Tonight's Game Features: Fans and canines are welcome to come out for an exciting day at FirstEnergy Stadium, as its Dog Day at the Park, thanks to the Human Society of Berks County, 830 AM WEEU and 69 News Berks Edition. The first 2,000 kids will receive a Webkinz "Littlekinz" Dog, thanks to Willow Creek Veterinary Center.
Tuesday also marks the first Genesis HealthCare Assisted Living Communities R-Phils Senior Club game with $3.00 off for all Senior Club members, plus a pre-game question and answer session from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., thanks to Genesis HealthCare Assisted Living Communities. Also, with every Tuesday, fans can play Baseball Bingo, thanks to Maidencreek Banquet Hall and fans can also enjoy another great Crazy About Reading Night, with a special R-Phils Player Reading Session from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Fans can also enjoy a Happy Hour in the Classic Cafe with $1.00 off select beers on Tuesday evening. Taking the stage at 5:00 p.m. for a special 90-minute performance will be Grammy Award-Winning guitarist David Cullen, and fans will want to come out for some great music.
