Traverse City Pit Spitters News Release
Traverse City, MI - Due to heavy rain in the Wisconsin Rapids area, Tuesday's game has been postponed. The Traverse City Pit Spitters will play a doubleheader against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Wednesday.
First pitch for Game 1 is at 6:05 ET/5:05 CT. Wyatt Rush (4-0, 1.35) is the Game 1 starter. Jacob Marcus (0-3, 2.48) will start Game 2 approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. Both games will be seven-inning games.
After the Rafters series, the Pit Spitters will finish the road trip in Fond du Lac to take on the Great Lakes West first half champion Dock Spiders. They will return home to face the Madison Mallards on Saturday July 10 for the first home game of the second half.
