ESTERO, FL - The Mississippi Sea Wolves fell 4-1 to the Florida Everblades, despite 50 saves by John Murray and a shorthand goal by Jason Tejchma, as they closed a two-game series at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida on Saturday night.
Peter Metcalf blasted home the rebound of a shot to break a scoreless tie at the 15:45 mark of the second period, after John Murray fended off the first 34 shots he faced.
Jason Tejchma scored his second goal in as many games when he broke down the ice two-on-none with Mark Rooneem and buried Rooneem's pass behind Florida goaltender David Leggio 41 seconds into the third period.
Florida reeled off three unanswered goals as the third period went on, one each from Mathieu Roy at 5:08, Patrick Bordeleau at 7:29, and Steve McJannet on an empty net at 18:59 to secure the victory.
John Murray made 50 saves to earn a loss, and the Sea Wolves were 0-for-4 on the power play.
