Portland Sea Dogs News Release
Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs will be hosting their annual Good Neighbor Night at the ballpark on Friday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM when the Sea Dogs take on the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins), sponsored by State Farm Insurance. All of the neighbors of Hadlock Field have been invited to attend this game, courtesy of the Portland Sea Dogs and State Farm Insurance.
Good Neighbor Night is a way for the Sea Dogs to thank all of the neighbors of Hadlock Field for dealing with the extra traffic, noise, and light that our facility can create. The Sea Dogs wish to be good neighbors and we thank our neighbors for being such good neighbors to the Sea Dogs.
On May 20th members of the Portland Sea Dogs and State Farm Insurance went door-to-door in the neighborhood delivering four tickets to the June 3rd game to each neighbor, both business and residential. All total the Sea Dogs and State Farm Insurance donated over 800 tickets to the neighbors of Hadlock Field for the June 3rd Good Neighbor Night.
The first 1,500 fans to enter the ballpark will receive a State Farm water bottle. State Farm's mascot, the Good Neigh-bear, will also be at the game. Ten lucky fans will win a stuffed Good Neigh-bear.
The Sea Dogs will play four games in three days this weekend at Hadlock Field before starting a 12 game, ten day road trip. Tickets to most Sea Dogs regular season home games are available and can be ordered by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or on-line at www.seadogs.com.
