SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY:The Portland Sea Dogs open up a six-game roadtrip on Tuesday night against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (Giants affiliate) at the Diamond...Portland finished 1-5 on their homestand against Richmond and Bowie, and looks to snap a four-game losing streak...The Sea Dogs have not scored in their last 26 innings - last runs on June 5th vs. Bowie on a 3-run homer by Keury De La Cruz in the first inning...RHP Matt Cain makes a Major League Rehab Assignment in the series opener for Richmond.

ANOTHER FORMER TEAMMATE: One day after Joe Gunkel beat Portland, a second former Sea Dog beat his old club on Sunday afternoon...Terry Doyle fired a 9-inning complete-game shutout, giving up just 7 hits in Bowie's 5-0 win at Portland...The Sea Dogs were swept by the Baysox for the first time at home since 2011...Oscar Tejeda went 3-for-4 with a double in the fourth...Bowie received a two-run homer by Mike Yastrzemski and a solo-homer by Trey Mancini...William Cuevas (6-3) suffered the loss, giving up seven hits, four runs, three walks and fanned seven over 4.1 IP.
