FIVE UP, FIVE DOWN:The Portland Sea Dogs have lost a season-high 5 straight games, and continues their six-game roadtrip on Wednesday night against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (Giants affiliate)...Richmond has won five in a row and 26 of 35 since a 15-game losing streak...Portland is 1-6 during a 12-game stretch against Richmond and Bowie...The 'Dogs are in a stretch of 14 of 17 games on the road...RHP Luis Diaz makes his second straight start against Richmond.

4-3, YET AGAIN: Richmond scored four runs over two innings and beat the Sea Dogs 4-3 on Tuesday night in the series opener...The two teams have played 4-3 games in all 4 games of the season series, with Richmond winning 3 of 4...Giants righty Matt Cain made a MLB Rehab start for Richmond, giving up two runs on 3 hits over 3.2 IP...Portland grabbed a 2-0 lead in the third on two-out RBIs from Carlos Asuaje and Jantzen Witte...Richmond responded with three runs off losing pitcher Justin Haley (1-8)in their half of the third...Kelvin Marte (5-0) worked 4+ innings of relief to secure the win for Richmond.
