ALMOST HOME: The Portland Sea Dogs wrap-up a seven-game road trip, taking on the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals affiliate) in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at FNB Field...With a win today, the 'Dogs finish 5-2 on the trip and take three of four from Harrisburg...Starting Monday, Portland is home for seven straight games against Hartford and Harrisburg...Lefty Matthew Kent returns from Triple-A Pawtucket to make a start.
FINAL AT-BAT WIN: 1B Jerry Downs snapped a 2-2 tie with an RBI single in the ninth inning, giving Portland a 4-2 win on Saturday...With two outs, 3B Bobby Dalbec added a two-out run-scoring single...RHP Matthew Gorst (1-5) allowed two unearned runs in the seventh inning but earned the win...RHP Adam Lau pitched a perfect ninth for his seventh save of the season...LHP Daniel McGrath (ND) fired six scoreless innings.
