The Sea Dogs and Harrisburg Senators continue their four-game series on Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field...Portland won their franchise record, 87th game on Saturday night.

NEWS AND NOTES

BEST EVER : The Sea Dogs won their franchise-record 87th game last night, and continue their four-game series with the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals affiliate) on Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field - in the annual Field of Dreams game...Portland concludes the regular season tomorrow afternoon, and opens up the Eastern Division Championship Series on Wednesday night against the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium...The 'Dogs will be making their first post-season appearance since 2008.

BIG INNING DID THE TRICK : Portland scored four times in the fifth inning and held on to beat the Senators 5-1 on Saturday night...Harrisburg committed three errors during the 'Dogs' 4-run fifth...Sean Coyle finished 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, blasting a solo-homer off losing pitcher Felipe Rivero (2-7) in the fourth...Justin Haley fired seven scoreless frames on 4 hits, one walk and fanned nine, earning his third straight win...Harrsiburg scored their lone run in the eighth inning on a two-out RBI double by Matt Skole...Aaron Kurcz fanned two in the ninth inning to secure Portland's franchise-record victory.
