THIS IS IT : This afternoon, the Sea Dogs and Rock Cats (Rockies affiliate) play the final game in the history of New Britain Britain Stadium...The Rock Cats will be the Hartford Yard Goats starting in 2016...With a win today, the 'Dogs will spilt the first 4 games of their 8-game roadtrip...LHP Danny Rosenbaum is seeking his first win since April 9, 2014 at Pawtucket (with Syracuse).
BLAST FROM THE PAST : Justin Morneau
(MLB Rehab) snapped a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning with a solo-homer, giving the Rock Cats a 2-1 win over the Sea Dogs...Jeff Hoffman (1-2) tossed six innings on one hit and one unearned to earn the win for New Britain...Justin Haley (5-15) took the tough-luck loss, working six innings on three hits, two runs (one earned) and six strikeouts...Portland's lone run came in the fourth inning on an error by 1B Jordan Patterson.
