Sea Dogs Announce Unused Ticket Redemption Nights

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs have established three games which will be 2005 Unused Ticket Redemption Nights. Any fan that has a unused ticket from any game in 2005 may exchange that ticket for a complimentary general admission ticket to one of the following games; Wednesday, May 11 at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24 at 6:00 PM, or Saturday, June 4 at 7:00 PM.
These dates have been set-up as a courtesy to our fans as a result of the extreme cold and wet start we've had to our season. "We realize many of our fans have opted not to come to the games based on the less than perfect weather we've had," stated Sea Dogs Director of Ticketing Dave Strong. "These dates give fans a chance to get some value for their tickets and to hopefully enjoy a Sea Dogs game in better conditions."
To take advantage of the program, fans will need to bring their unused tickets to the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at Hadlock Field. Unused tickets are exchangeable for General admission tickets only, no upgrades will be available. Through the first month of the season the Sea Dogs have had four postponements. The franchise record for postponements in a season is six in 2003. The Sea Dogs had only one game postponed last season. Fans with tickets to any of the four postponed games in 2005, may exchange their tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2005 Sea Dogs home game, subject to availability. Rain dates in 2005 thus far are April 12, April 23, April 24, and May 7.
The Sea Dogs have an Eastern League best record of 17-10. Portland continues their homestand tonight with a 6:00 PM game tonight with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays). The series concludes tomorrow with a 12:00 noon game. Tickets for all remaining 2005 Sea Dogs regular season home games are available and can be ordered by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or on-line at www.seadogs.com.
