
Bridges to New Orleans

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that starting pitcher Donnie Bridges has been sent to the Washington Nationals triple-A team in New Orleans. Taking the spot vacated by Bridges will be relief pitcher David Maust.
Bridges made five starts with the Senators this season and compiled a 1-3 record and a 4.21 ERA. In 25.2 innings, Bridges allowed 34 hits, 18 runs, 12 earned runs, 8 walks and 18 strikeouts.
Maust comes back to Harrisburg from Potomac (Nationals single-A) where he has been since opening day. With Potomac, Maust was 1-0 with a 6.64 ERA in nine appearances. He allowed 27 hits and 15 earned runs in 20.1 innings of work.
The Nationals also announced that infielder Scott Hodges signed a contract with the organization has been placed on the Senators' roster on the Temporarily Inactive List. Hodges has been in New Orleans where he continues to undergo chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Disease.
