Scott May Activated From Seven Day IR

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that forward Scott May has been activated from the seven day injured reserve list to the active roster.

May has played in 24 games for the Ice Pilots this season scoring 14 goals, 11 assists for 25 points picking up 10 penalty minutes and has played in 16 games for St. John's in the AHL picking up one assist and 21 penalty minutes.

The Pensacola Chamber LEAP organization is selling $15 and $13 tickets for the home game this Saturday with a portion of the proceeds going to help restore four parks damaged by Hurricane Ivan. Fans can call the Pensacola Chamber for tickets at 438-4081 or call Hank Dousharm at GEICO located at 1919 Creighton Road at 494-0052.

Covenant Hospice is also selling $10 tickets for the Ice Pilots home game this Saturday. Fans can call Judi Cape! llo at 202-5930. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to help support Covenant Hospice.

Fans are encouraged to keep their ticket stubs to Saturday's game vs. Mississippi on April 2nd as fans can redeem their ticket stubs from the game at the Gutter Lounge or the new Liberty Lanes for two for one drinks at the Gutter Lounge and buy one get one free game of bowling at the new Liberty Lanes. Fans will have until April 9th to redeem their ticket stubs. The new Liberty Lanes and Gutter Lounge is located at 3200 Palafox Street.

The Ice Pilots final home game of the regular season is Saturday, April 9th vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. It is Fan Appreciation Night. All fans attending the game will receive a voucher for a one year free subscription to the Sporting News. Also the Florida Lottery Spin Off Grand Prize will be held for $2,500. The winner of the GEICO Three Stars Award will be presented before the game and if determined by April 9, the winner of the Barne! s Ace Hardware Points leader will be announced before the game.

The Ice Pilots will also hold a jersey auction on the Ice Pilots home and away game worn jerseys after the game on Saturday, April 9th vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. Fans who win the jerseys will be able to receive the jerseys once the Kelly Cup Playoffs are over.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets, playoff tickets and birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots at 432-PUCK.

Fans who bought Kelly Cup Playoff tickets for all 14 home Ice Pilots playoff games can pick up their playoff tickets at the Ice Pilots office beginning Tuesday, April 5th or at the customer service table behind section 107 at the Ice Pilots last regular season home game vs. Mississippi on April 9th at 7:05 p.m.

The Ice Pilots will hold a Season Ticket Holder Year End Get-Together and Playoff Rally at the Civ! ic Center on Sunday, April 10th from 1 p.m. 3 p.m. Season ticket holders will be able to enjoy a barbecued lunch, free ice skating, locker room tours and fun for all. Complimentary skate rentals will be provided or bring your own skates. The first 500 season ticket holders also receive a free rally rag.
