Santa Cruz Warriors Battle Back in Fourth, Defeat Kings, 123-116

STOCKTON, CA. - The Santa Cruz Warriors defeated the Stockton Kings, 123-116, to extend their winning streak to six games. Jordan Poole, on assignment from Golden State Warriors, scored 23 points to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists in his G League debut.

After falling behind by 20 points in the second quarter, Santa Cruz trailed 64-51 at halftime. Andrew Harrison hit three-pointers in the third frame, including back-to-back threes to finish the quarter and narrow the gap to 92-84 entering the fourth frame.

The Warriors took a 98-97 lead in the fourth and both teams went back and forth until the final whistle, with Santa Cruz taking the lead for good on a Juan Toscano-Anderson 3-pointer to make it 112-111 with 1:37 remaining.

Jeremy Pargo shot hit 9-of-15 from the field and finished with 22 points and six assists. Harrison finished the game with 23 points and connected on four-of-six from 3-point territory. Toscano-Anderson added 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Stockton's Isaiah Canaan led all scorers with 28 points. Sacramento Kings Two-Way guard Kyle Guy scored 14 of his 26 points in the first half, while Gabe Vincent finished with 23 points. Former Sea Dub Kevin Young contributed 12 points and seven rebounds for the Kings in his first game against Santa Cruz.

The Warriors will return to Kaiser Permanente Arena tomorrow on Sunday, December 29 for a 6 p.m. tip against the Texas Legends. The first 1,500 fans will receive a Golden State Warriors Snow Globe.
