CANTON, OH - A 35-point first quarter propelled the Canton Charge (12-6), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, to a 107-91 victory over the Long Island Nets (6-12) on Saturday evening at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

J.P. Macura burst into the game, netting the Charge's first eight points to spark Canton to a 12-1 lead that the Nets were never able to recover from. Dean Wade chipped in seven points on a 3-for-6 shooting line in the first to help the Charge to 35 points, which is the third most the team has scored in a quarter this season.

Levi Randolph carried the momentum into the second quarter with a 2-for-3 shooting performance from behind the arc for a team-high eight points in the second. Canton's defense remained dominant in the first half with 5 steals, 24 defensive rebounds, and allowing only 41 points, tying the season record for fewest opponent points in the first half.

Macura led the Charge with 19 points, shooting 7-for-10 from the field. Two-way player Tyler Cook notched his second double-double of the season with 16 points and a team-high 12 rebounds while Randolph netted his eighth-career double-double 13 points and 10 boards. Big man Marques Bolden was dominant in the paint with a career-high five blocked shots to go along with 14 points and eight boards.

John Egbunu tallied a career-high 26 points, shooting 12-for-14 from the floor, and brought down 11 boards in 29 minutes of action to lead the Nets. Jaylen Hands followed with 13 points and four assists in 32 minutes. Jonathan Kasibabu finished the night with 12 points on a 5-for-9 shooting line in 19 minutes of action.
