
Santa Cruz Warriors Announce Women's Empowerment Month Activations, Presented by Chase

SANTA CRUZ - The Santa Cruz Warriors, the NBA G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, have announced the team's NBA Social Responsibility activations for Women's Empowerment Month, presented by Chase. Throughout the month of March, the Santa Cruz Warriors and Chase will celebrate and honor women with numerous activations.
Below is the schedule for the Santa Cruz Warriors' Women's Empowerment Month events:
WNBA Celebrate Her Night, presented by Chase - The Santa Cruz Warriors will host a WNBA Celebrate Her Night during their March 5 game against the Memphis Hustle. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Women's Empowerment Month t-shirt, presented by Chase. Fans will also receive purple shoelaces that include Women's Empowerment Month messaging, presented by Chase.
All-Girls Youth Basketball Clinic, presented by Chase - Santa Cruz Warriors players and staff will lead an All-Girls Youth Basketball Clinic at the Boys and Girls Downtown Santa Cruz Clubhouse on Monday, March 7. Players and staff will encourage the girls to work hard and share the joy of basketball with them.
Movie Showing of "A League of Their Own," presented by Chase - The Santa Cruz Warriors will host a free movie showing of "A League of Their Own" at the Capitola Cinelux on Wednesday, March 9.
Breakfast Donation, presented by Chase - The Santa Cruz Warriors will donate a breakfast to a local women's shelter on Friday, March 18.
Women's Happy Hour, presented by Chase - The Santa Cruz Warriors will host a Happy Hour for local female figures to celebrate their success in the Santa Cruz community on Wednesday, March 30.
Helping Hands, presented by Chase - The Santa Cruz Warriors will visit a local elementary school and read books focused on female figures or authors on Wednesday, March 30. The books will be donated to the school's library after being signed by the Santa Cruz Warriors players.
