San Jose Sharks Reassign Defenseman Mike Moore To Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Mike Moore to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

He was recalled to San Jose on Jan. 27 but did not appear in any games.

Moore has posted 10 points (three goals, seven assists) along with a team-high +10 rating in 43 games with Worcester in his first full season of professional hockey.

Moore was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on April 8, 2008, following four seasons of collegiate hockey at Princeton University.
