San Diego's Ganga Suspended Five Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that San Diego right wing Nick Ganga has been suspended five games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #544 at Peoria on January 28.

Following a Peoria goal in the third period, Ganga was assessed a match penalty under Rule 52(a) - Deliberate Injury of Opponent after he delivered a forceful and deliberate crosscheck to the head area of an opponent.

Ganga is suspended five games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

Ganga missed San Diego's game at Dayton (Jan. 30) and will miss San Diego's games at Toledo (Feb. 2), at Wheeling (Feb. 4), at Johnstown (Feb. 5) and at Wheeling (Feb. 6).
