San Diego Gulls Announce Roster Additions

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed left wing Kevin Roy and right wing Deven Sideroff to amateur tryout agreements (ATO).

Roy, 22 (5/20/93), scored 65-85=150 points with 92 penalty minutes (PIM) in four years at Northeastern (Hockey East), appearing in 130 career games. As captain of the Huskies in 2015-16, Roy completed his senior season with 10-16=26 points and 10 PIM in 29 games. The 5-10, 170-pound winger ranked tied for 12th in the nation in scoring (19-27=46) in 2013-14 and tied for fourth among NCAA freshman in points (17-17=34) in 2012-13.

Sideroff, 18 (4/14/97), appeared in 63 games with the Kamloops Blazers (Western Hockey League) this season, recording 19-40=59 points with 28 PIM. Selected in the third round (84th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Sideroff has collected 39-70=109 points in 141 career WHL games. The 5-11, 172-pound winger won bronze with Team Canada at the 2015 IIHF Under-18 World Junior Championship, scoring 3-1=4 points with 12 PIM.
