ICE CHIPS: Garrett Thompson - Rampage Winger
Former Fort Wayne Komet and Rampage winger Garrett Thomp- son has had an immediate impact on the ice since joining the Silver and Black on Jan. 18. Thompson has scored three goals and registered one assist in nine Rampage appearances. He collected 30 points as a Komet in the ECHL before his recall. His second goal in a Rampage sweater served as the game-winner when San Antonio topped the Texas Stars 5-2 on Feb. 5. The Michigan native has quickly developed great synergy with line mates Borna Rendulic and Marc-Andre Cliche, and is taking full advantage of his opportunity in San Antonio.
