Hartford Wolf Pack News Release
The Wolf Pack (24-21-2-0, 50 pts., .532 pts. percentage) came out of the AHL All-Star break Friday night with their most convincing victory of the season, a 5-0 road shutout of the Portland Pirates. Magnus Hellberg made a Wolf Pack season-high 35 saves in that game for his third whitewash of the season, and Tommy Hughes and Adam Tambellini had a goal and an assist apiece. It was the Wolf Pack offense that ran dry Saturday night in Albany, though, as former Wolf Pack goaltender Yann Danis blanked Hartford in a 3-0 verdict for the Devils. That was just the second loss in the last 12 games for the Wolf Pack, who have climbed to within three points of a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division.

This week:
The Wolf Pack face a three-game weekend this coming weekend, with two of the three games at home. The Atlantic Division-leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins invade the XL Center for a 7:15 PM date with the Wolf Pack this Friday night, before the Pack head down to Bridgeport for a battle with the Sound Tigers on Saturday night (7:00). On Sunday the Wolf Pack will host the Rochester Americans in a game that faces off at 3:00.
Friday, February 12 vs. the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh) at the XL Center, 7:15 PM
- At this and every Friday-night home game this season, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period.
- 7:15 PM is the new faceoff time for all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games this year.
- The Penguins still sit atop the Atlantic Division standings, at 30-14-1-1 for 62 points and a .674 points percentage, but their lead over second-place Hershey has dwindled to .031, after a 3-6-1-0 Penguin slump in their last ten games.
- This is the last of six games on the year between the Wolf Pack and Penguins. The Pack are 2-2-1-0 in the series but have lost both of their home games against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, 7-6 in overtime on November 15 and 3-2 on January 3.
- Penguin forward Carter Rowney had the overtime game-winner and two assists in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 4-3 win at Springfield on Friday night, and then scored both Penguin goals in Saturday night's 3-2 loss in Bridgeport.
- Tickets for this and all remaining 2015-16 Wolf Pack home games are on sale now at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499. - The Sound Tigers have taken four of the six games played between the AHL's two Connecticut entries this season, and are 3-0-0-0 against the Wolf Pack at home.
- Winger Taylor Beck, who is third on the Sound Tiger squad in points and goals with 13-11-24 in 38 games, scored twice in the last meeting between the Wolf Pack and Bridgeport, a 4-1 Sound Tiger win January 29 at the XL Center.

- Wolf Pack Sunday home games again feature the Wolf Pack's "Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack" this year. The Family Value Pack includes two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for just $35.
- This is the last of four games in the first season series between the Wolf Pack and the Americans since the 2001-02 campaign. The Wolf Pack lost the first two meetings, including a 3-2 defeat in the Amerks' first visit of the year to the XL Center November 1, but blanked the Amerks 1-0 in the last get-together, December 27 in Rochester.
- Head Coach Randy Cunneyworth's Rochester club currently holds down the fourth-place spot in the North Division, with a record of 23-21-2-1 for 49 points and a .521 points percentage. The Amerks have won two straight and five of their last seven.
