Fucale Superb in Blanking of Crunch

ST. JOHN'S, NL - Zach Fucale recorded his first pro shutout as the St. John's IceCaps blanked the Syracuse Crunch 4-0 Tuesday in an important divisional matchup at Mile One Centre.

Fucale stopped all 39 shots he faced including several huge saves in the third period to preserve the win in a first star performance.

Gabriel Dumont had a goal and two assists, Bud Holloway notched three helpers and Morgan Ellis had a goal and an assist. Michael McCarron and Nikita Scherbak picked up the other goals for the home side, which snapped a five-game winless skid.
