THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Wednesday, March 11 vs. Milwaukee Admirals
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday's game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest, as the Rampage take on the Admirals for the first time this year, playing a two- game series in 2014-15 after splitting last year's season series 2-2-0-0.
Milwaukee is currently in third place in the Midwest Division and has a record of 15-6-3-2 on the road. This is the Rampage's second of a five- game homestand and the second of three games played on Wednesday this month. San Antonio will face Midwest Division opponents in their next three-straight games, posting a record of 4-6-2 thus far.
Friday, March 13 vs. Lake Erie Monsters
AT&T Center 7:30 p.m.
San Antonio hosts Lake Erie for the first time at the AT&T Center this year in the third game of the season series. The Monsters are fifth in the Mid- west Division and 11-10-4-1 on the road this season. The Rampage look for their first win against the Monsters since last April, after posting a record of 0-1-1-0 against the team at Quicken Loans Arena this year.
Saturday, March 14 vs. Lake Erie Monsters
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Silver and Black play their fourth straight on home ice against the Monsters in the second of four back-to-back set of games this month. This puck drop wraps up a four-game series against the Monsters and will be the 15th contest played against a Midwest Division team for the Rampage.
Pucks & Paws vs. Lake Erie Monsters
Saturday, March 14
7:00 p.m. at AT&T Center
The Rampage hold their eighth annual Pucks & Paws game on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the AT&T Center for the game against the Lake Erie Monsters and to post picture and interact with the Rampage on social media using the hashtag #RampagePaws.
MILITARY APPRECIATION TO REMEMBER: The Rampage held their annual Military Appreciation Night Saturday and filled the arena with 10,565 people in a 4-1 defeat of the Iowa Wild. This was San Antonio's first game back on home ice since the Rodeo Road Trip and their second win in a row. The military-themed jerseys were auctioned off following the game and raised $31,100 for Operation Comfort and the Rampage Sled Hockey Team.
RODEO ROAD TRIP RECORD: The Silver and Black finished this year's Rodeo Road Trip with a record of 5-4-1-1, and split back-to-back set of games against all but one of the six total opponents.
ROSTER MOVES: Goaltender Dan Ellis was recalled to Florida on March 3 and has made two starts since, posting a record of 1-0-1. As a result, Joe Howe was signed to a professional tryout contract to serve as an emergency back-up goal- tender. Shane O'Brien was recalled to Florida on March 5, played in one game, and was reassigned on March 6. Jonathan Racine was recalled and then reassigned from Florida on March 7. Josh McFadden was reassigned to Cincinnati on March 8.
ICE CHIPS: John McFarland - Rampage Right Winger
John McFarland totaled for three goals in his last two games, including the game-tying tally on March 5 in Charlotte and an empty-netter to secure a 4-1 homecoming victory for the Rampage on March 7 against Iowa. McFarland had 10 total shots on net in his last three games along with putting up a team-high four shots on Saturday and finishing the game a +2. The Richmond Hill, ON. native has 12 points (eight goals, four assists) in 30 games with the Silver & Black this season.
