Coyotes Recall Shinnimin from Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Brendan Shinnimin on an emergency basis from the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 24-year-old Shinnimin has recorded 0-1-1 and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 11 games with the Coyotes this season. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba has also registered 14-19-33 with a plus-six rating in 48 games with the Pirates.
Shinnimin originally signed with the Coyotes on March 2, 2012.
