Salmon King Heads For Manitoba

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that defenseman Dylan Yeo has been recalled by the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Yeo is currently in his rookie season with the Salmon Kings. The Prince Albert Native has played in 33 games and has accrued 12 points (4g-8a) during his tenure.

The 21-year-old signed a contract with the Moose on July 17, 2007. He was assigned to Victoria after participating in both the Vancouver Canucks Prospects Camp and Manitoba's main training camp.

The 5-11, 198 pound Yeo spent the previous four seasons in the Western Hockey League. He played his final two seasons with the Calgary Hitmen.

The Salmon Kings roster now sits at 20 players (12 forwards, 6 defensemen and two goalies).

The Salmon Kings and the Las Vegas Wranglers meet tonight in the first of two games that pit the top teams in the National Conference. The game goes at 7:05 p.m. at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The second game goes tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. The Kings return home to Victoria and will start a five games in six night home stand.
