WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - In front of a sellout crowd at Raley Field, the Sacramento River Cats (51-80) mustered just four hits and fell to the Las Vegas 51s (64-67) by the final of 6-0.

River Cats starter Mike Connolly allowed three runs in the first inning, but settled down to allow just one run during the rest of his outing. He struck out four batters before being relieved in the sixth inning.

The Sacramento offense struggled to get going with just four hits in the ballgame. Third baseman Ryder Jones went 2-for-4 to lead the effort, but the River Cats were shutout for the 10th time this season.

In Sunday's matinee, the River Cats will send left-handed reliever Josh Osich (0-0, 5.54) to the mound to make his second start of the season. The 51s will counter with fellow lefty and former River Cat Matt Gage (4-7, 6.45). First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m. (PT).
