Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - The ECHL announced today that Utah forwards Ryan Kinasewich and AJ Perry along with rookie defenseman Vic Bartley have been chosen to represent Utah and the National Conference January 19 and 20 at the ECHL All-Star Festivities in Ontario, California presented by Reebok and Toyota. Kinasewich has been selected as a starter for the game.

The game will be played January 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. Three all-stars is the most the Grizzlies have had since joining the ECHL in 2005.

Kinasewich, who currently leads the league with 20 goals and is second in the league with 40 points, is in his fifth year with Utah and is the Grizzlies captain. He also leads the league with 126 shots and is tied for the league lead with five game-winning goals and seven power-play goals; even while missing five games in November during an AHL call-up. In total this year, the 26-year-old has 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points in 22 games. On October 24, Kinasewich became the Grizzlies all-time leading goal scorer with 113 goals and on November 14 became the team's all-time leading scorer with 279 points.

Perry has 30 points in 27 games this year with 12 goals and 18 assists. He is seventh in the league in scoring since November 10 with 12 goals and 15 assists in 18 games. He enters tonight with a five-game scoring streak with six goals and one assist during that stretch and is 12th in the league in scoring overall.

Bartley has been on recall to the Islanders AHL affiliate in Bridgeport since December 8. At the time of his departure, the 21-year-old rookie was tied for fourth in the ECHL with a plus-12 and led all rookies in plus-minus. He was also tied for 13th in the ECHL in scoring by defensemen with two goals and 11 assists for 13 points in 21 games.

The Grizzlies return to the E-Center tonight at 7:05 p.m. and Thursday at 6:05 p.m. when they will host the Victoria Salmon Kings.
