BINGHAMTON BLANKS HARRISBURG: The Rumble Ponies bounced back from a series-opening walk-off loss with a four-pitcher combined shutout Wednesday evening at FNB FIeld. Joseph Shaw led the charge through the first 5.2 innings, before David Roseboom, Corey Taylor, and, Joshua Torres held the Senators scoreless the rest of the way. Binghamton moves to six games above .500 for the second time this season.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Scott Copeland makes his fifth Eastern League start of the season. The 30-year-old has won three of his four Binghamton starts and was also victorious in his lone Triple-A start with Las Vegas. He tossed a season-high seven innings against Richmond in his last start on May 24, allowing three earned runs. Copeland returns to Binghamton after making one relief appearance with the New York Mets.

ALONZO GOES GONZO: Peter Alonso's first-inning solo blast was his league leading 15th home run of the season and first since May 26. Alonso finished Wednesday's win 1-for-3, snapping his six-game hitless streak.

SHAWSOME JOSEPH: RHP Joseph Shaw picked up his first career Double-A win on Wednesday, tossing 5.2 innings of shutout baseball. His first victory comes on his 12th try, his only scoreless one.

SPEEDING TO 60: The Rumble Ponies are the first team in the Eastern League to 60 home runs.

FILLING THE SEATS: 8,036 fans filled the seats at FNB Field for Wednesday's contest, the most for a game featuring the Rumble Ponies this season. The previous high was 7,368 set on three different occasions in Portland.

SHUTOUT SPECIAL: Binghamton's shutout win was their second of the season and first since their first game of the season. On Opening Night at NYSEG Stadium on April 5, the Rumble Ponies beat the Sea Dogs 6-0.

NO WAY DOUBLE PLAY: The Rumble Ponies have not hit into a double play in three straight games for the third time this season. Binghamton has never gone four consecutive contests without knocking into a double play.

RISING UP: Wednesday's win puts Binghamton above .500 against both Eastern (18-13) and Western (14-13) Division opponents. In addition, the Rumble Ponies are above .500 both at NYSEG Stadium (17-12) and away (15-14).

SO FAR SO GOOD...: Binghamton and Erie are the only Eastern League teams with four wins in the month of June.

UP NEXT: Binghamton heads to Trenton to begin a three-game series on Friday evening. RHP Marcos Molina gets the ball in the series-opener against Thunder RHP Bryan Keller. First pitch at ARM & HAMMER Park is scheduled for 7:00 PM
