LAST GAME RECAP: The Yard Goats took both ends of a twin bill on Tuesday at NYSEG Stadium. In game one, Binghamton rallied for four runs in the seventh inning, but fell short 6-5. The nightcap was also a one-run game, finishing 2-1 for Hartford. Joey Terdoslavich finished the day 5-for-7 with 4 RBI as the Ponies suffered their sixth doubleheader sweep of the season.

BINGHAMTON STARTERS: RHP Scott Copeland makes his 14th Eastern League start of the season and first against Hartford. The 30-year-old is winless in his last six starts between Double and Triple-A. On July 26 at Altoona, Copeland lasted seven innings in a no decision, giving up three runs on nine hits.

PONY 'PEN: Despite losing both games on Tuesday, Binghamton's bullpen didn't allow a run. Four Rumble Ponies relievers combined to toss four innings in the twin bill.

NOTEWORTHY NIDO: Tomas Nido extended his hitting streak to nine games in game two, tying a season high. Since June 27, the Rumble Ponies catcher is batting .379, the best mark in the Eastern League during that span. He has racked up 15 extra-base hits in his last 22 games.

JOEY BAG o' HITS: Joey Terdoslavich racked up two multi-hit games on Tuesday, his fourth in the last seven games. He's hitting .467 over that stretch, with a HR and 5 RBI.

FALL TO FIFTH: The Rumble Ponies occupy fifth place in the Eastern Division for the first time this season. They're also a season-worst 13.5 games out of first place.

HELP YOURSELF: Kevin McGowan brought in the Rumble Ponies only run in Tuesday's nightcap, doubling in a run in the second inning. McGowan is the second Rumble Ponies pitcher to pick up an RBI hit in the last week (Mickey Jannis).

ONE-RUN GAMES: The Rumble Ponies have lost three straight games decided by one run. Binghamton's last one-run win came on July 19 against Trenton.

ALL GOATS, NO PONIES: Since beating Hartford in their first meeting of the season (May 7), Binghamton has dropped nine straight games to the Yard Goats.

GET TO KNOW TINOCO: Yard Goats RHP Jesus Tinoco makes his second start against Binghamton this season. On June 15 at Dunkin Donuts Park, Tinoco picked up the win tossing six innings of one-run baseball. In six starts since, Tinoco's posted a 1-4 mark.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies and Yard Goats finish up their four-game series on Thursday evening. RHP Mickey Jannis gets the ball for Binghamton against Hartford RHP Rico Garcia. First pitch at NYSEG Stadium is scheduled for 6:35 PM.
