The Erie SeaWolves return to Hadlock Field in hopes of clinching a series win against the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox).....The SeaWolves won behind a five run seventh inning in the series opener....Chad Sedio homered for only the second time this season and cranked the third SeaWolves grand slam of the season...The 7-6 win was the 35th one-run game the SeaWolves have played in this season.....The Wolves are now 16-19 in one-run contests....Caleb Thielbar has not allowed an earned run since July 5th against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, as he picked up his third win on the season Tuesday night....Jake Rogers snatched the team home run lead back after hitting his 12th bomb of the season in the series opener....The SeaWolves have improved their road record to 28-24 on the season...With Richmond's loss in New Hampshire, Erie has jumped back into fourth place....The SeaWolves currently sit 6.5 games out of a wild-card playoff spot...Spencer Turnbull will make his second Erie start after returning from the DL....The righty fanned six batters and allowed two runs through 4.1 against the Akron RubberDucks in a no-decision in his most recent outing....LHP Matt Kent will make his 17th start of the season for Portland...The southpaw has worked 8.0 IP in his last two outings, and wrapped up the month of July with a 2.54 ERA.
