TONIGHT: The Rumble Ponies continue their 4-game series with the Trenton Thunder over Memorial Day weekend. The Rumble Ponies were victorious last night 6-0 propelled by a five-run fourth against Trenton RHP Albert Abreu.

KRIZAN'S BIG WEEK: Jason Krizan hit a three-run homer on Friday that capped off a five-run fourth, making it 6-0 Ponies. It's Krizan's 4th homer of the year, and his fourth in less than a week. Over his last five game (three of which have been against Trenton), Krizan is hitting .389 with 4 HR and 10 RBI. He is also on a 6-game hitting streak.

RUMBLE PONIES START WITH RELIEF: Yesterday Ponies right-handed reliever Adonis Uceta made the start for the Ponies. Uceta combined with righties Joshua Torres, Ryley Gilliam, and Matt Blackham for a three-hit shutout.. In relief of Uceta; Torres, Gilliam, and Blackham combined to allow just one hit with 0 walks and 6K's over 6 scoreless frames.

JANNIS DOMINANT WITH BINGHAMTON: RHP Mickey Jannis makes the start for the Rumble Ponies tonight. In two starts with the Rumble Ponies this year, the veteran righty is 2-0 and has not allowed an earned run. In his last start against the Thunder last Saturday, Jannis allowed 5 hits over 7 innings, allowing 1 unearned run, getting his second win of the year.

JANNIS MILESTONES: With two wins on the season, Jannis now has 23 career wins with Binghamton and is now two wins away from tying Tyler Pill for the most wins all-time in franchise history (25). Jannis (currently tied for 2nd all-time) this year has not allowed a single earned run over his two stars with the Ponies.

GETTING OFF TO A GOOD START: The Rumble Ponies with last night's win are now 10-3 in series opener's this season. They also now tied their high water mark at 10 games over .500 (26-16). It is also their third straight win against the Thunder dating back to their series last weekend in Trenton.

PORK ROLLS VS. SPIEDIES PART TWO: The Rumble Ponies are wearing their "Spiedies" uniforms tonight. The Thunder will honor their culinary tradition in this "Sandwich Showdown" with special "Pork Rolls" uniforms. It's all part of Military Appreciation Weekend at NYSEG Stadium.

SPENDING WEEKENDS TOGETHER: This is the second straight series these two teams will play a four-game series. Last weekend in Trenton the Thunder won the first two games of the series, 5-4 and 6-2. The Ponies won the final two games on Saturday and Sunday: 3-1 and 7-1.

COMING UP: The Rumble Ponies will continue their series with the Thunder tomorrow evening and Monday afternoon.
