Ruggeri Recalled to Phantoms

TRENTON, NJ (January 11, 2005) â The Trenton Titans announced that defenseman Rosario Ruggeri has been recalled by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League.
The 20-year old rookie has potted a goal, 4 assists and 33 penalty minutes in 27 games for the Titans this season. Prior to his professional career Ruggeri compiled 112 points (24G, 88A) and 301 PIM over 204 career QMJHL games with Montreal and Chicoutimi from 2000-04.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Ruggeri was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fourth round (#105 overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. This is Ruggeri's second call-up of the season.
