Alumni Jersey Auction Begins Today

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that the Alumni Game Jerseys that the Ice Pilots alumni and current players will be wearing on Subway Alumni Night Saturday, February 26th at 5:05 p.m. with the Subway Alumni Game followed by the Ice Pilots vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. will go on auction this afternoon at www.icepilots.com. Proceeds of the auction will go to the Hurricane Relief Fund in Northwest Florida.

The alumni jerseys are in the color of navy blue with the letters Pensacola written on the front of the jersey in gold with white trim. It is the first time ever that a jersey has been done like this with the organization. The minimum bid for the jerseys is $200 and the auction will go until the middle of February.

Other miscellaneous game worn jerseys and non game worn jerseys will also be auctioned with the alumn! i jerseys. The winners of the alumni jerseys will be able to have their picture taken with the players on Subway Alumni Night after the game.

Christian Sbrocca, Craig Brown, Martin "Choo Choo" Chouinard, Etienne Beaudry, Eon MacFarlane, Kelly Hultgren, Shane Calder, Scott Malone, Andrew Rodgers, Scott LaGrand, Chad Quenneville along with Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr will play in the Subway Alumni Game. Members of the Jr. Ice Pilots and Senior League Members will also play in the game.

The Subway Alumni Game will be played before the Ice Pilots regular game vs. Mississippi in which the current players will also be wearing the special Alumni Jerseys.

The Subway Hall of Fame banner will also be displayed during the intermission of the Ice Pilots game vs. Mississippi. A couple of players will be inducted onto the Subway Hall of Fame banner that night. The Subway Hall of Fame Top Ten list will be announced tomorrow with the voting to resume tomorrow at www.icepil! ots.com.

The Ice Pilots will play at Idaho this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:05 p.m. central time. Fans will be able to listen to the game on flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications channel 2, www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue and also available on a pay per view webcast at www.icepilots.com in conjunction with B2 Networks.

The Ice Pilots next home game is Friday, January 29th vs. Augusta at 7:05 p.m. It is Mardi Gras Night. The Ice Pilots will wear their Mardi Gras Jerseys sponsored by Hill Kelly Dodge. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game. A Mardi Gras Parade will take place during both intermissions.
