Milestone Men: In tonight's game, a trio of Royals reached WHL milestones. Defenceman Mitch Prowse played in his 200th career regular season game, while blueline Matthew Smith skated in his 150th contest. Meanwhile, goaltender Shane Farkas made his 100th appearance in the league.

Gone Streaking: Royals' forward Gary Haden extended his point streak to five games. During that span, the 20-year old has recorded five goals and two assists.

Former Team: Victoria forward Graeme Bryks suited up against his former team tonight. Bryks spent parts of the last two seasons with the Thunderbirds and recorded eight points (1g-7a) in 58 games with the club. The Edmonton, AB native, was traded to the Royals during the pre-season in exchange for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2022 WHL Bantam Draft.

Local Product: Victoria, BC native and Thunderbirds' forward Payton Mount scored two goals against his hometown team tonight. The Juan de Fuca Minor Hockey Association product has now collected 10 points (2g-8a) in seven career games versus the Royals.

New Threads: Tonight, marked the first game in a Seattle uniform for newly acquired forward Max Patterson. The Thunderbirds acquired the 20-year-old earlier this morning from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

Teddy Bear Toss: Tomorrow night's contest is the Royals annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Fans are encouraged to bring their new teddy bears or stuffed toys and throw them on the ice after Victoria scores their first goal. The bears/stuffed toys will be distributed to a variety of local charities.
