
ICE and Blazers Meet on Teddy Bear Toss Night

The Winnipeg ICE continue the home stand after picking up wins against Brandon, Swift Current and Regina to start the home stand. Tonight is the can't miss game of the year as its the Teddy Bear Toss! Fans are encouraged to throw teddy bears on the ice after the ICE score their first goal!
The ICE and the Blazers will play their one and only meeting tonight at the ICE Cave. The Teddy Bear Toss is a special night in support of the Manitoba Children's Hospital Foundation. The Blazers have put together a great season so far and find themselves sitting in first place in the B.C. Division. The ICE have found a home at the ICE Cave after dropping their first three contests here, winning nine of their last ten and six straight here in Winnipeg. All signs point to this one being a great matchup.
The ICE continue to climb with a 6-4-0-0 record in their last 10 outings. The ICE are coming off a 3-2 win over the Regina Pats in overtime last night.
Following tonight's contest, the ICE host the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday, December 7th at the ICE Cave for the Teddy Bear Toss in Support of the Manitoba Children's Hospital Foundation.

LAST GAME - 3-2 OVERTIME WIN OVER REGINA: The Regina Pats were in town for a Friday Night clash at the ICE Cave at Wayne Fleming Arena. After Regina scored 2 goals late in the third to force OT,Peyton Krebs won it for the ICE. The Pats got themselves into a little bit of penalty trouble in the first frame, with the ICE capitalizing on their second power play of the period to take a 1-0 lead after Michal Teply fired a shot from the slot past Regina goaltender Max Paddock. Peyton Krebs and Carson Lambos drew the assists on the goal. The ICE continued their strong play into the second period and scored their second goal of the game with Brad Ginnell's 9th goal of the season, as they took a 2-0 lead into the second intermission. The Pats came back in the last 2 minutes of the game, with Riley Krane scoring both goals for Regina in a 46 second span to force the game into overtime. It was Peyton Krebs who got the OT winner after Regina took their 6th penalty of the game. Teply and Ben Zloty drew the assist on the OT winner.
