Former Team: Royals forward Gary Haden recorded a goal in tonight's contest against his former team. Haden played parts of four seasons (2015-16 to 2018-19) with the Tigers and collected 53 points (25g-28a) in 115 games.
Danish Connection: Royals forward Phillip Schultz and Tigers goaltender Mads Sogaard, along with forward Jonathan Brinkman, hail from Denmark. All three players played for Denmark's Under-20 team at the 2019 World Junior Championships in Victoria and Vancouver, as well as the Under-18 team at the 2018 World Under-18 Championship Division 1 A tournament in Riga, Latvia.
Island Grown: The Tigers had a pair of Vancouver Island born players in their line-up in tonight's game. Forward's Tyler Preziuso (Victoria) and Corson Hopwo (Duncan) each found the scoresheet in the win.
