
Royals, CTCE and Reading Eagle Calling All Kids to Matinee Game

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL and CTCE Federal Credit Union and the Reading Eagle today announced a special ticket promotion for the Kid's Day matinee game (1:05 pm) on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, Monday January 17, 2011, when the Royals will take on the Trenton Devils at the Sovereign Center. Under this special ticket offer, fans will receive two (2) FREE CHILDREN'S TICKETS for every adult ticket purchased to that game. Plus, The Reading Parking Authority is offering $1.00 parking for the game. Fans may enter RPA garages beginning at 11 a.m. up to 2 p.m. for the $1.00 parking admittance.
The Kid's Day matinee special is going to be chalked full of excitement, starting with the giveaway of a Royals-CTCE Federal Credit Union water-bottle to the first 1,000 fans 18 and under. The game day activities will be geared towards getting everyone involved, as Slapshot and Sammy the Squirrel intend to whip up their special brand of frenzy for fans of all ages who are looking for an exciting afternoon of hockey action on their day off from school or work. After the game, all fans in attendance on Kid's Day will have an opportunity to meet the Royals and tour the DeCarlo Custom Cabinetry team locker-room facilities. Fans interested in taking photographs of the players and/or the Royals' locker room facilities that day are encouraged to bring their own cameras for that purpose.
Please note that, with respect to the ticket offer outlined above, persons gaining entry to the Royals' matinee game on Kid's Day with a Children's Ticket must be eighteen years of age or younger. Also, please note that this ticket offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers, and all tickets purchased and received under this offer are valid only for the Royals game against the Trenton Devils on January 17, 2011. The Royals take on the Toledo Walleye tomorrow (Friday, January 7 @ 7:00) at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. The Royals game night broadcast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by The Works at Wyomissing on the Royals Broadcast Network (WRAW 1340 am in Reading, www.1340wraw.com ) at 6:30 pm.
