Hartlieb to Suit up for Blades

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that Ernie Hartlieb has agreed to terms with the club and will be in uniform when Florida hosts the Cincinnati Cyclones this weekend.

Hartlieb returns the to ice for the first time since announcing his retirement following the 2009-10 season. The 31-year-old notched 39 points (12g, 27a) in 67 games with the Everblades last year and saw action in nine games in the American Hockey League with Rochester where he posted four points (2g, 2a).

At the conclusion of last season the Warren, Michigan native hung up his skates after 10 years of professional hockey, the final six of which were primarily with the Everblades. Hartlieb returns as the Everblades all-time leader in games played with 341 and ranks among the top in all-time Everblades history in points (257 - 3rd), assists (171 - 3rd) goals (86 - 5th) and power play goals (33 - T-1st).
