Schwebius Shutout: Rockets' goaltender Cole Schwebius recorded his first career shutout in tonight's contest. Schwebius has played in 20 contests over his career, including three this season with the Rockets.

Seattle Connection: Royals' forward Graeme Bryks faced off against a pair of former teammates tonight in Kelowna's Cole Schwebius and Dillon Hamaliuk. Last season the three played together on the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Team WHL: Earlier today, Rockets' forward Dillon Hamaliuk was added to the Team WHL's roster for the second game of the upcoming CIBC Canada vs. Russia series.

Under 20 Shots: Tonight's game marked the first time that the Royals have lost while holding their opponents to under 20 shots since November 26, 2016 against the Seattle Thunderbirds.
