
Schwebius backstops Rockets to victory in Victoria

The Kelowna Rockets shutout the Victoria Royals 1-0 Wednesday night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena in Victoria, B.C.
The two faced off for the second night in a row, Victoria came back to down the Rockets 5-4 in a shootout last night.
Goaltender Cole Schwebius backstopped the Rockets to their first shutout of the season and his first in the Western Hockey League. Schwebius 33 shots fired his way.
Nolan Foote (8) put the Rockets in front when he pounced on a rebound just past the midway point of the first period. His third power-play tally of the season would be the lone goal of the game.
The Rockets record moves to 8-4-1-1.
Schwebius's record is now 2-1-0-0. The Royals outshot the Rockets 33-17.
