Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals edged the Prince George Cougars 3-2 in a shootout as forward Gary Haden scored the winner, while goaltender Shane Farkas stopped three of the four attempts he faced.

Notes:
Home Sweet Home: With the victory, the Royals have now won 10 consecutive home games vs. the Cougars. Victoria's last loss to Prince George at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre came on December 27, 2017.
First as a Royal: Royals' defenceman Jacob Herauf, along with forward Graeme Bryks both registered their first point as a member of the team when they assisted on Carson Miller's goal.
Encore: For the second straight game, both of Victoria's goals were scored by Keanu Derungs and Carson Miller. Last night, Miller scored first, while Derunges tallied the second marker.
Hitting the Road: Victoria will now head out on the road for a contest against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday, October 5th. Pucks drop is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
